Hello there. Thank you for checking us out and wanting to learn more about who we are. This site is a journey for me from over 10 years ago when I had an idea to create a site to “sell” romantic date night ideas. Everyone I knew told me it was a terrible idea and I would never make any money at it. So, like many great ideas, I shelved it and went on with my life. For some reason, this idea has never left my mind and I think about it quite often.
Recently I had the opportunity to propose to the most wonderful woman in the world and actually used one of my ideas to do it. I won’t lie. It was not easy. But now that it is over (and she said yes), I wouldn’t trade it for the world. With a little help and inspiration, I am positive that you can make your marriage proposal just as special as mine.
Of course, my main objective now is not to sell these proposal ideas, but to just give them away. I figure it is the only way to get them out of my head where they are just wasting away. If just one person uses one of my ideas and has a great time with it then I will be happy. I won’t lie, there will be ads and hopefully sponsors someday, but that will just be extra stuff you can use if you want. A big shout out to Pat Flynn for teaching me how to put it all together. If it weren’t for his podcasts and Bekah’s never-ending support for all my crazy ideas, this site would never have happened.
So beyond the site, I am just a pretty regular guy. I enjoy all things outdoors (except ticks and mosquitoes). Running, hiking and fishing are my favorites followed pretty closely by kayaking. I also enjoy working out with weights at least a couple of days a week. I also started and run Sheepleg.com, which is a site that sells hiking, camping, and fitness supplies. As you can see, I enjoy a challenge. Whether it is training for a marathon or to actually complete the Funky Monkey section of the Tough Mudder, I am constantly trying to make myself better.
And lucky for you that my muse for this site is so amazing because she pushes me to be a better partner every day. She is so great to me, I have to try harder and harder to do nice things for her just to try and keep halfway caught up with the wonderful things she does for me all the time.
